To amend the Food Security Act of 1985 to increase funding for the conservation stewardship program, and for other purposes.

This bill significantly enhances financial support for the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) by amending the Food Security Act of 1985. It establishes a new annual funding level of $1.8 billion for the program, specifically for fiscal years 2025 through 2031, aiming to bolster conservation efforts across the nation. Furthermore, the legislation mandates the transfer of $5.02 billion in unobligated balances from the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. These substantial funds are directed to the Secretary of Agriculture to further strengthen the CSP, utilizing the existing facilities and authorities of the Commodity Credit Corporation for implementation.
