Designating the Guam and Western Pacific USDA Rural Development Office Act

This bill requires the Secretary of Agriculture and the Undersecretary for Rural Development to designate the Guam and Western Pacific USDA Rural Development office within 90 days of the Act's enactment. This designation aims to establish a dedicated representative for USDA Rural Development services in the specified Pacific regions. The designated office will serve Guam , the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands , American Samoa , the Republic of the Marshall Islands , Palau , and the Federated States of Micronesia . Crucially, the bill ensures this office will be delegated the same rights and responsibilities as those granted to any USDA Rural Development office serving a U.S. State, enhancing its authority and operational capacity in these areas.
