The designated office will serve Guam , the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands , American Samoa , the Republic of the Marshall Islands , Palau , and the Federated States of Micronesia . Crucially, the bill ensures this office will be delegated the same rights and responsibilities as those granted to any USDA Rural Development office serving a U.S. State, enhancing its authority and operational capacity in these areas.
