This bill provides for the relief of Ingrid Encalada Latorre , making her eligible for an immigrant visa or adjustment of status to lawful permanent resident. It specifically waives certain provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act that might otherwise prevent her from obtaining permanent residency, including grounds for removal or denial of admission. Furthermore, the legislation mandates that the Secretary of Homeland Security rescind any outstanding order of removal or deportation or findings of inadmissibility against her. To benefit from these provisions, Ms. Latorre must file her application for an immigrant visa or adjustment of status, along with appropriate fees, within two years of the bill's enactment. Upon the granting of her permanent residency, the total number of immigrant visas available to natives of her birth country will be reduced by one.
