This bill, titled the "Empowering Individuals to Succeed Through Education and Workforce Training Act," amends the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) to establish a new Support Services Training Fund . The Secretary will award competitive grants from this fund to qualified applicants, such as local and state workforce boards, to provide essential support services for individuals participating in specific WIOA training activities. Grant applications must outline partnerships with other organizations, including those managing TANF and SNAP programs, to deliver comprehensive assistance. These specified support services include existing WIOA supportive services, plus additional critical aid like groceries and after-hours childcare, deemed necessary for successful training completion. Each individual grant awarded under this program will not exceed $2,000,000 per year.
