This bill establishes a mechanism for interim appropriations for two specific federal entities: the National Capital Planning Commission and the Commission of Fine Arts. Beginning with fiscal year 2025, if these commissions do not receive a regular appropriation for their expenses in a given fiscal year, this bill mandates that funds be appropriated from the Treasury. The interim funding would be provided at the same rate and under the same terms and conditions as the previous fiscal year's appropriation. Once a subsequent regular appropriation for these entities, or a general appropriation bill for the Department of the Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies, is enacted, the interim appropriations would cease, and any expenditures made under this act would be charged to the new appropriation.
