Veterans Healthcare Equality Act of 2025

This bill aims to prevent discrimination based on gender identity within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) healthcare system. The legislation mandates that the VA ensure no person faces discrimination in connection with hospital care, medical services, or extended care services due to their gender identity. To ensure compliance and transparency, the Secretary is required to provide quarterly briefings to the Committees on Veterans' Affairs of both the House and Senate regarding the healthcare furnished to transgender veterans.
