TWISTER Act

The "Tornado and Windstorm Innovation for Safety and Tracking Enhancement Research Act," or TWISTER Act , aims to enhance public safety by amending the Weather Research and Forecasting Innovation Act of 2017. The program's expanded focus areas include fast-developing storm systems such as derechos , areas historically absent of tornadoes, and evening or nighttime tornadoes .
