National Security Climate Intelligence Act of 2025

The National Security Climate Intelligence Act of 2025 amends the National Security Act of 1947 to establish a new requirement for the intelligence community. It directs the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) to produce periodic Intelligence Community Assessments (ICAs) specifically focusing on the national security and economic security effects of climate change. The initial assessment is mandated within four years of the bill's enactment, with subsequent assessments required at least every six years thereafter. These comprehensive reports are to be submitted to the congressional intelligence committees .
