Protecting Young Minds Online Act

This bill, titled the Protecting Young Minds Online Act, amends the Public Health Service Act to assign a new responsibility to the Center for Mental Health Services . It specifically directs the Center to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy. This strategy is designed to help local communities effectively address the mental health impacts of new technologies on children. Such technologies include, but are not limited to, social media platforms. The ultimate goal is to provide guidance and support for mitigating these effects.
