Dyess Air Base Access Infrastructure Design Act

This bill requires the Secretary of the Air Force to conduct specific planning and design activities for infrastructure improvements at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. The legislation focuses on two key access points: the Tye Gate and the Arnold Gate . For the Tye Gate , the Secretary must carry out planning and design for an infrastructure project not to exceed $17,000,000, with design activities considering standard Air Force gate designs, minimal utility crossings, and simplified phasing. Similarly, for the Arnold Gate , planning and design are mandated for a project not exceeding $12,065,000, accounting for site congestion, multiple utility connections, and complex traffic coordination. These planning and design efforts will be funded using existing amounts made available to the Department of the Air Force under military construction accounts.
