Whistleblower Protection Act of 2025

This bill clarifies that existing federal whistleblower protections , as described in section 4712 of title 41, United States Code, will apply to a comprehensive range of agreements funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Specifically, these protections extend to any contract , subcontract , grant , subgrant , or personal services contract that receives appropriations from HUD. A key provision ensures that these safeguards are applicable regardless of the original execution date of the agreement, thereby providing consistent protection for individuals reporting concerns within HUD-funded activities.
