This bill directs the Secretaries of Homeland Security and State to implement new disclosure requirements for certain visa applicants. Specifically, it mandates updates to Form I-20 for F and M visas, and Form DS-2019 for J visas, to require applicants to report any funds received or planned from the Government of the People's Republic of China, the Chinese Communist Party, or entities they own or control. These updates must be completed within 180 days of the bill's enactment. Beyond initial applications, the bill establishes an ongoing disclosure requirement , compelling aliens who receive such funds after obtaining an F, J, or M visa to report them within 90 days. Non-compliance with this reporting obligation will lead to the revocation of their visa or other entry documentation. The disclosure rules also extend to an alien's spouse and minor children applying for or holding these visa types, and apply retrospectively to current F, J, and M visa holders.
