This legislation amends the Homeland Security Act of 2002, adding cybersecurity risk mitigation as a core responsibility under Section 523(a) and referencing an existing definition for such risks. Furthermore, the bill requires the FEMA Administrator, in consultation with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), to submit a comprehensive report within one year of enactment, detailing the Agency's progress in addressing these cybersecurity risks to relevant congressional committees.
