Drought Assistance Improvement Act

The "Drought Assistance Improvement Act" seeks to improve federal drought-related disaster assistance for agricultural producers. It modifies the Livestock Forage Disaster Program (LFP) by lowering the drought duration threshold for eligibility, allowing producers to receive one monthly payment after four consecutive weeks of drought.
