VA Flood Preparedness Act

The VA Flood Preparedness Act amends title 38, United States Code, to empower the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to make financial contributions to local authorities. These contributions are specifically for the purpose of mitigating the risk of flooding on local property situated adjacent to Department of Veterans Affairs medical facilities, explicitly including risks associated with rising sea levels .
