The "RNs for Rural Health Act of 2025" aims to enhance Medicare coverage for annual wellness visits provided in rural health clinics. It achieves this by amending the Social Security Act to permit registered nurses (RNs) to furnish personalized prevention plan services. Under this bill, if an RN licensed in the state provides these services, they would be covered by Medicare, similar to services furnished by a physician or incident to a physician's service. This expansion of covered providers is intended to ensure more adequate access to preventive care for beneficiaries in rural areas. The provisions of this Act will apply to services furnished on or after its enactment date.
