This bill seeks to significantly restrict immigration pathways for individuals who habitually resided in Palestinian-administered territories, specifically Judea and Samaria or Gaza, or who possess a passport or travel document issued by the Palestinian Authority. It immediately nullifies the President's February 2024 memorandum granting Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) to certain Palestinians and the subsequent implementation notice from the Secretary of Homeland Security, also prohibiting future DED for these individuals. The legislation further amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to make such individuals ineligible for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) , asylum, and refugee status. It also prevents the Secretary of Homeland Security from granting them parole into the United States, effectively closing several avenues for legal entry or stay. Moreover, the bill establishes new grounds for inadmissibility and deportability for these specified aliens. It also mandates that any such alien who has adjusted to lawful permanent residence and commits a violent crime shall have their permanent resident status rescinded .
