Summary
The Valid Benefits Act directs all federal departments and agencies that provide federal benefits to individuals who have attained 105 years of age or more to conduct semiannual eligibility verification. This measure aims to ensure that these elderly recipients continue to meet the necessary criteria for receiving federal assistance. Agencies are empowered to issue regulations to facilitate the implementation of these verification requirements. The provisions of this Act will become effective for all federal benefit payments made on or after December 31, 2025 .
