This legislation requires the General Services Administration (GSA) to collaborate extensively with Federal tenants to enhance shared-space arrangements across federal agencies. The Administrator must identify existing concerns regarding shared spaces and develop comprehensive criteria to facilitate the expanded use of space-sharing and colocation. Additionally, GSA is tasked with determining how special-use spaces can be effectively utilized to improve these arrangements and establishing measurable objectives, in consultation with tenants, to quantify their success. The Administrator must provide a briefing to relevant Congressional committees within six months on the progress and implementation of these critical requirements.
