Protecting Families from Inflation Act

The "Protecting Families from Inflation Act" requires the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System to undertake a comprehensive study. This study will analyze the collective impact of all United States tariffs issued from 2017 onwards. The primary focus of this research is to determine how these tariffs affect the cost of goods and services for both consumers and small businesses across the nation. Within 270 days of the Act's enactment, the Federal Reserve is mandated to submit a detailed report of its findings to Congress, providing insights into the economic effects of these trade policies.
