This bill provides an extension of the legislative authority granted to the National Emergency Medical Services Memorial Foundation . The purpose of this extension is to allow the Foundation additional time to establish a commemorative work in the District of Columbia and its environs. Specifically, the bill amends Section 1(b) of Public Law 115-275, changing the reference for the expiration or extension period. Instead of a seven-year period, the authority is now considered to expire on or be extended beyond November 3, 2032 , providing a clear deadline for the memorial's establishment.
