This legislation authorizes the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to enter into an agreement with the Montgomery County Land Bank for the transfer of approximately 58 acres of land . This parcel is located in Dayton, Ohio, directly across from the existing Dayton National Cemetery. Under the terms of the agreement, the Land Bank will transfer all right, title, and interest in the land to the Department of Veterans Affairs at no cost and for no consideration. The Secretary is required to accept this transfer within three years of the offer, specifically to use the parcel for the expansion of the national cemetery .
