Return to Sender Act

This legislation, known as the "Return to Sender Act," proposes to repeal and rescind specific funding provisions from the Inflation Reduction Act. Its primary objective is to eliminate any unobligated balances that were appropriated or made available by sections 70002 and 70003 of Public Law 117-169. As of the date this Act is enacted, all unspent funds from these two sections would be rescinded, and the sections themselves would be repealed. This action would effectively terminate the financial allocations designated by those particular parts of the Inflation Reduction Act.
