Justice Thurgood Marshall National Historic Site Establishment Act of 2025

This legislation establishes the Justice Thurgood Marshall National Historic Site in Baltimore, Maryland, recognizing the significant contributions of the first African American Supreme Court Justice. The site will encompass Public School 103, where Thurgood Marshall received his elementary education, and will be administered as an affiliated area of the National Park System. The bill specifies that the School will continue to be owned, operated, and managed by the Beloved Community Services Corporation , which has already completed a historic restoration. The Secretary of the Interior is authorized to provide technical and financial assistance for the site's marketing, interpretation, and preservation through cooperative agreements with the management entity. However, the Secretary is explicitly prohibited from acquiring the property or assuming overall financial responsibility for the site's operation, maintenance, or management.
