End of GSE Conservatorship Preparation Act of 2025

This legislation aims to accelerate the process of terminating the conservatorships of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac by requiring specific actions from the Secretary of the Treasury. The Secretary must submit a report to Congress within 30 days of the bill's enactment, detailing whether existing proposals for ending these conservatorships have been completed. If any proposals are incomplete, the report must include the latest draft, and the Secretary is then required to finalize and submit the completed proposals to the relevant congressional committees within 90 days.
