Stop CCP Land Act

The "Stop China's Continuous Purchase of Land Act" aims to prevent certain foreign entities from acquiring agricultural land in the United States. The bill defines "covered foreign country" to include nations on the State Department's Defense Trade Control Country Policies List, explicitly naming Russia, and implicitly targeting China. It also requires the Secretary of Agriculture to report on updating foreign investment disclosure laws and the Comptroller General to assess the national security impact of foreign real estate manipulation. The federal funds at stake encompass a broad range of programs, many related to agriculture, energy, and environmental initiatives.
