Return to Work Act

This bill requires all Executive agencies to reinstate their telework policies that were in place on December 31, 2019 . Agencies must implement these prior policies within 60 days of the bill's enactment. A key provision specifies that the reinstated telework policies will supersede any conflicting telework provisions found in existing teleworking, collective bargaining, or other employment agreements. This measure aims to standardize telework arrangements across Executive agencies based on pre-pandemic practices.
