Disaster Loan Outreach Consistency Act

This bill mandates that the Administrator of the Small Business Administration (SBA) establish procedures within 180 days to ensure consistency and accuracy in disaster loan outreach materials. These materials, including press releases and fact sheets from disaster field operations centers, must provide current information on disaster loan program terms and any changes to federal disaster assistance eligibility processes. The required procedures include developing standardized templates for all outreach materials and implementing a process to verify their accuracy and adherence to current terms before public release. Furthermore, an annual review process will be established to maintain consistency across all disaster field operations centers, with immediate reviews following significant procedural changes. The Administrator must also notify relevant congressional committees within 30 days of establishing or significantly altering these procedures.
