Protect America from CARB Act of 2026

This legislation proposes to amend the Clean Air Act by introducing new concurrence requirements for the approval of state emissions standards. It mandates that the Environmental Protection Agency Administrator must receive concurrence from the Secretaries of Agriculture, Energy, Interior, and Transportation before granting waivers or authorizations for state vehicle and engine emission control programs.
