No Insider Trading on National Security Act of 2026

This bill directs the Inspector General of the Department of Defense (DoD IG) to submit a report to Congress by January 1, 2027. The report must detail all complaints received by the DoD IG regarding insider trading on prediction and energy markets during Operation Epic Fury . It requires the identification of whether complaints were against Armed Forces members, civilian DoD employees, or contractors, along with the outcomes and any accountability actions taken. Furthermore, the report must include identified trends, an assessment of operational risks and security vulnerabilities posed by such activities, and recommendations for safeguards. These recommendations aim to detect, deter, and reduce the likelihood of future insider trading incidents related to national security operations.
