No Data Center NDAs Act

This bill, titled the "No Data Center NDAs Act," aims to prevent Members of Congress from entering into certain nondisclosure agreements related to data centers. Specifically, it prohibits them from signing NDAs with state or local governments or private entities if it's a condition for receiving information about a data center's planning or development. This includes sensitive details such as planned investments, location strategies, construction designs, and critical water or energy resource consumption. Furthermore, the legislation stipulates that no federal funds from the U.S. Treasury may be used to implement or enforce any such prohibited nondisclosure agreement. To ensure compliance, the Committee on Ethics of the House of Representatives and the Select Committee on Ethics of the Senate are mandated to promulgate necessary regulations.
