This resolution states it is the sense of the Senate that Governor Oliver Hazard Perry Morton (1) helped preserve the Union during the Civil War; (2) is one of Indiana's most notable Hoosiers; and (3) should be recognized, especially in 2023, which is the 200th anniversary of his birth.
