This resolution commends the University of Connecticut men’s basketball team for winning the 2024 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) men’s basketball championship. The resolution also commends the University of Connecticut women’s basketball team for reaching the Final Four of the NCAA women’s basketball championship for the 23rd time in the program's history. Further, the resolution congratulates Coach Geno Auriemma of the University of Connecticut women’s basketball team and Coach Dan Hurley of the men's team.
