To direct the Secretary of Defense to conduct an operational assessment of the installation defense capabilities of the Department of Defense to defeat unmanned aircraft system.

This bill requires the Department of Defense (DOD) to conduct an operational assessment of its installation defense capabilities to defeat unmanned aircraft system threats. DOD must report on the results of the assessment and provide recommendations for any changes or modifications to operationally employ directed energy systems for installation defense against unmanned aircraft system threats.
