No Fuel Credits for Batteries Act of 2023 This bill prohibits the Environmental Protection Agency from authorizing the generation of credits—called renewable identification numbers or eRINs—for electricity generated from renewable fuel for purposes of satisfying the volume of renewable fuel that needs to be contained in transportation fuel under the Renewable Fuel Standard program. Further, it prohibits the use or transfer of such credits that were generated before the enactment of this bill.
