Federal Interior Land Media Act or the FILM Act This bill rewrites provisions for commercial filming activities or similar projects in National Park System units and on other federal lands. Specifically, the bill provides exceptions from permitting and fee requirements for content creation, including still photography, digital or analog video, or digital or analog audio recording activities, on land under the jurisdiction of the Departments of Agriculture or the Interior.
Referred to the Committee on Natural Resources, and in addition to the Committee on Agriculture, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
