American Innovation Act This bill provides permanent funding for the National Science Foundation, the Office of Science at the Department of Energy, the Department of Defense science and technology programs, the scientific and technical research and services of the National Institute of Standards and Technology at the Department of Commerce, and the Science Mission Directorate at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The bill exempts such funding from being sequestered under the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act.
