Providing Reports On The Efforts Combating Threats in Schools Act or the PROTECTS Act This bill requires the President to report to Congress within 30 days on the efforts of executive agencies to make school security improvements to protect children in public elementary and secondary schools.
Referred to the Committee on Education and Labor, and in addition to the Committee on the Judiciary, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
