Crisis Housing Act of 2020 This bill provides funding to public housing agencies for rental assistance for certain families located in an area that either (1) meets specified unemployment levels, or (2) is subject to a major disaster declaration. The bill designates the funding as emergency spending, which is exempt from discretionary spending limits.
Referred to the Committee on Financial Services, and in addition to the Committees on Transportation and Infrastructure, Education and Labor, and the Budget, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
