National Healthcare Acquired Infection and Medical Error Transparency Act

National Healthcare Acquired Infection and Medical Error Transparency Act This bill establishes a program to collect confidential reports from health care providers that detail instances of health care-acquired infections and medical errors. It also establishes the Office of Patient Safety and Health Care Quality within the Department of Health and Human Services to administer the program.
