Anti-Corruption and Public Integrity Act This bill addresses issues of corruption and public integrity, campaign reform, and ethics in government. Specifically, the bill prohibits members of Congress, cabinet secretaries, federal judges, and other senior government officials from owning and trading individual stock or serving on corporate boards; institutes a lifetime ban on lobbying by former members of Congress, Presidents, and agency heads; requires disclosure of funding or editorial conflicts of interest in rulemaking and establishes an Office of the Public Advocate; requires the Supreme Court to follow the ethics rules for all other federal judges and encourages diversity on the federal bench; creates a new, independent anti-corruption agency dedicated to enforcing federal ethics laws; requires elected officials and candidates for federal office to disclose more financial and tax information and requires increased disclosure of corporate money behind lobbying; and makes changes to the Federal Election Commission.
