To provide for a waiver of the matching funds requirement for the farmers market and local food promotion program and value added producer grant program.

This bill waives matching funds requirements for entities that receive grants from the Department of Agriculture through the Farmers Market and Local Food Promotion Program or the Value-Added Producer Grant program. The matching funds requirements shall not apply with respect to grants awarded during the period beginning on January 1, 2019, and ending on December 31, 2021.
