To direct the Secretary of Health and Human Services, acting through the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, to carry out a national campaign to increase awareness and knowledge of COVID-19.
This bill requires the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in consultation with relevant federal agencies, to award grants or enter into contracts with eligible entities to carry out a national campaign, based on available scientific evidence, to increase knowledge about and reduce stigma associated with COVID-19 (i.e., coronavirus disease 2019).
