Fair Pay for the Modesto VA Act This bill provides that the cost of living shall be included in any determination of the rate of basic pay for employees of a Department of Veterans Affairs duty station in Stanislaus County, California. The bill also requires the rate of basic pay in such location be redetermined at least once every five years. The bill includes Stanislaus County, California, in the locality pay area applicable to San Francisco, California. The changes implemented in the bill shall not be construed to (1) result in a lower rate of basic pay for any employee, (2) affect any payment in addition to basic pay that an employee is eligible to receive, or (3) supersede or otherwise effect any limitation on total pay.
