Jobs, Not Waste Act of 2019 This bill prohibits the Department of Energy from licensing, planning, developing, or constructing a nuclear waste repository at Yucca Mountain in Nevada until the Office of Management and Budget conducts a study on the economic viability of alternative uses of the site and Congress holds a hearing on the findings. (A nuclear waste repository is a site used for storing high-level radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel.)
