Senator Paul Simon Study Abroad Program Act of 2017 This bill amends title VII (Graduate and Postsecondary Improvement Programs) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 to establish, as part of the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE) program, the Senator Paul Simon Study Abroad Program. It authorizes the Department of Education, under the FIPSE program, to award Senator Paul Simon Study Abroad Program grants to institutions of higher education (IHEs), or consortia of IHEs, to provide and expand study abroad opportunities for undergraduate students.
