This bill allow s administrative or judicial review of additional Medicare disproportionate share hospital (DSH) payment determinations for acute care hospitals known as subsection (d) hospitals. Under current law, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services must make DSH payments to qualifying hospitals that treat a disproportionate share of low-income patients.
