Celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks. Commends the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for its stewardship of the locks. Recognizes: (1) the significant contribution of the locks to the national maritime economy, and (2) the need for federal investments in modernizing the locks and continuing to educate the community about their history and the preservation of natural resources.
