To provide humanitarian relief to the Venezuelan people and Venezuelan migrants, to advance a constitutional and democratic solution to Venezuela's political crisis, to address Venezuela's economic reconstruction, to combat public corruption, narcotics trafficking, and money laundering, and for other purposes.
Venezuela Humanitarian Relief, Reconstruction, and Rule of Law Act of 2018 This bill authorizes various actions in response to economic and political unrest in Venezuela, including the provision of humanitarian aid to migrants who have left Venezuela due to the crisis.
Referred to the Committee on Foreign Affairs, and in addition to the Committees on the Judiciary, and Financial Services, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
