Active Assailant Training, Readiness, and Response Act of 2018 This bill requires the Department of Education to make grants to institutions of higher education (IHEs) for developing active assailant programs. Under the programs, the IHEs must assist public institutions or facilities (e.g., schools, day care centers, and hospitals) in preparing for and responding to an active assailant.
